We came to Russia not sure what to expect
Our two countries have been at odds with little mutual respect
The flight was long, seats were cramped
We lined up at immigration, passports were stamped
We saw fabulous paintings and works of art
The list is too long, not sure where to start
We loved Moscow’s beautiful & majestic boulevards
In contrast, stand the Golden Rings’ historical ramparts
