Life is a journey with ups and downs
A mature lawn has patches of  brown

A river bends and turns as it rushes to the sea
A butterfly goes thru metamorphosis before being set free

Rose plant won’t survive/thrive w/o thorns
W/o fire, many forest plants will not be reborn

There won’t be a rainbow without rain
A pearl won’t form w/o the irritation of a grain.
