Coronavirus Lock-Down and creativity

The lock-down didn’t affect me much
I am a “loner” and, mostly a “home-bound” animal
“Pretend” golf is the only activity I had to suspend
Otherwise, changes in my routine were minimal

Composing “rhyming prose” is something I dabble in
Under lock down, it became a mainstream activity
The motivation was to cheer up my children,
provide them relief from the morbid reality

For unexplainable reason, the ideas kept coming
I penned about a dozen new pieces
I still have more than a dozen ideas waiting
would probably lie dormant until Covid-19 panic ceases.
