Justice Thomas, don’t be so conceitful
You say “the leak has changed the institution”
The truth is, the leak has only confirmed
what has been known; It is a mere affirmation

You call the leak “as an unthinkable breach of trust,
loss of trust changes the institution fundamentally”
Trust in the court had been lost even before the leak
Trust is lost by making decisions ideologically

I suggest you and your peers look in the mirror
Especially, the three Trump appointees
Loss of Trust has accelerated since they joined
They lied to the senate and the nation to appease

They told Senators, “Roe V Wade is a settled matter,
and the court honors and abides by the precedents”
They lied through their teeth, keeping a straight face
To repay debt owed to Republicans, acting as their agents

Mr. Thomas, in a rare moment of contrition, you said “We
may have become the most dangerous branch of government,
venturing into areas we should not have entered into”
You also said “I think that’s problematic”; I say amen!

Your “take no prisoner” philosophy espoused in three words God, Guns, Government
God – OK to discriminate in the name of God (read Christian God)
Guns – no limitations or restraints of any kind (no matter how common sensical)
Government – Antigovernment (government is not the solution, government is the problem)

Contrary to what they deny in public
They make laws from the bench
Use shadow docket to avoid public scrutiny
To hide, in their cozy cocoons, they retrench

They pontificate there are no Democrat judges
or Republican judges; only American judges
Then why do their decisions favor those who
appointed them and break neutrality pledges?

With lifetime appointments and long tenure
In unelected positions, not having to face public
Hobnobbing with rich and powerful
Answering to none; speechify self-serving rhetoric
